Hi, my name is Sheldon Gibson, founder of Shortleaf Media. I was born on the beautiful Island of Jamaica.

I developed a passion for videography/photography back when I was pursuing music at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts. Although I was a music student , I was very intrigued with the visual arts. However, It was after my studies at the Edna Manley College that I began exploring videography and photography at a deep level.

As I delved into this visual arts journey, I learnt a lot very quickly and my passion grew immensely. I started sharing my work online via social media, which drew individuals to my page and some eventually became clients. The feedback has been great and I am truly grateful that I'm able to do what I love full time. 

I would describe my work as quality from the heart, and that's a fact. I believe that  the more we explore, the more we will grow. Therefore, I am always excited to learn something new, so that I can always expand creatively.
